The 28-year-old versatile defender has been a standout performer for Nuno Espírito Santo's Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League this season.
Across 30 appearances, he has contributed offensively with two goals and one assist, with Forest pushing for European qualification.
The Super Eagles star expressed his desire to play alongside Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford if he were to assemble a dream Nigerian national team.
Aina speaks on Rashford and Saka
When asked which English international he would like to see join the current talented Super Eagles squad, Ola Aina named Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka.
“Saka or Rashford. I just think Rashford is mad dynamic. He’s quick and direct, like how we play in the Super Eagles.
I think Rashford would be a good addition still,” the Forest defender said in an interview with ESPN UK.
Saka has been exceptional for Arsenal this season, especially after returning from a three-month injury.
Rashford, on the other hand, has rejuvenated his season, with his form also improving since joining Aston Villa on loan.
Meanwhile, currently sidelined with a calf injury, Aina aims to be back on the pitch before the English Premier League season concludes.
