Super Eagles of Nigeria star Odion Ighalo was on target again in the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League.

Ighalo started the game and put Al Wehda in front as early as the fifth minute assisted by Craig Goodwin after a check by VAR.
Al Akhdoud responded with the equalizer from Christian Bassogog in the 32nd minute.
The tides turned and Al Akhdoud went in front through Ibrahima Kone in the 36th minute.
An own goal by Jawad El Yamiq gave Al Akhdoud a 3-1 lead away from home at the break.
In the second half, Goodwin scored in the 58th minute to give Al Wehda a lifeline.
Ighalo played for 90 minutes but could not save the team from a home defeat.
The Nigerian striker returns to action when Al Wehda takes on Al Fateh in their next league game scheduled for January 2025.
