A comfortable evening saw Bayelsa Queen thrash their counterparts Naija Ratels 3-0 to finish on a high.

On the final day of the regular season, two first-half goals and a third in the second were all the queens needed.

The queens were dominant, ruthless and comfortable as they easily sealed a place in the final phase of the 2023 NWFL season.

Chinyere Grace, Flourish Sabastine and Touta Evanick were the heroines for the champions on the day.

The Prosperity Girls were pleased with their performance against the Ratels after the win.

The Queens took to their official social media page to celebrate an ‘outstanding rinse’.

“Win, rinse, repeat,” the Queens said in a post on Twitter. “Another outstanding TEAM performance today against Naija Ratels FC,” the post concluded.

What next for the NWFL champions?

Following the win, Bayelsa has qualified for the super six slated for later in the year as they look to defend their 2022 title.

The Queens sealed a top-three finish, but despite the comfortable victory against Ratels, they lost the group to Delta Queens who held former champions Rivers Angels to a 1-1 draw at home.
