Triple World champion Noah Lyles is preparing for a tough show against his compatriots at the World Indoor Championships scheduled for Friday 1 to Sunday 3 March in Glasgow, Scotland.
Lyles will be lining up against the likes of track rival Christian Coleman, Trayvon Bromell, and former World champion Fred Kerley who has also confirmed participation.

The two-time World 200m champion explained that his focus will be to win the 60m at the global showpiece the event will be his sole focus.
“The goal is to win the World Championships Indoor 60m…there will be no 200m this time around. I think Fred also said he wants to run his first 60m too,” Lyles said during an interview on Instagram.
The American enjoyed an amazing 2023 season and he will be keen to extend his winning streak to the 2024 season.
He won triple gold at the World Championships, bagging the 100m and 200m titles and propelling his team to the 4x100m relay gold.

He is now hungry for more and he is eyeing an Olympic quadruple at the Olympic Games in Paris, France.
During an interview with World Athletics, he said: “I’m not different. I’m still the same Noah. If anything, I’m more hungry than before because I’ve proved to myself that I can do it, so now I’m even more eager to do it next year. It’s almost like another fire has been ignited for next year.”
