Despite the dip in overall hardware and software sales, Nintendo managed to maintain a robust performance across its diverse portfolio.

Sales on Nintendo's proprietary platforms surged by 4.7%, reaching ¥1.3 trillion ($8.7 billion) - although this was fueled by the success of its flagship console, the Switch, and an array of captivating game titles.

Notably, the introduction of the OLED model invigorated the Switch lineup, with shipments totaling 8.17 million units during the nine-month period.

Meanwhile, the Switch Lite witnessed remarkable growth, with shipments increasing by 9.1%, underscoring its popularity among gaming enthusiasts.

Nintendo's software lineup continued to captivate audiences worldwide, with blockbuster titles such as "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and "Super Mario Bros Wonder" garnering immense popularity.
