The Nigerian national team is replete with young attacking talents, and this has seen a rise in its squad value.
The Super Eagles now rank tenth globally for the most valuable national team squads in the world and are the highest placed on the African continent.
What happened
In the last few years, Nigeria has seen a meteoric rise in the quality and volume of attackers produced, with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface and Terem Moffi heading that list.

It is such that only nine other national teams in the world can lay claim to having squads that command a higher value than the Super Eagles, none of which are African.
Per TransferMarkt, Osimhen is currently valued at €120 million, Ademola Lookman at €30 million, Boniface at €40 million, Taiwo Awoniyi at €30 million and even Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi, who are midfielders, are worth as much as €25 million and €28 million respectively. The total valuation of the Super Eagles squad is €451.6 million.
