Nigerian striker Akor Adams is not slowing down soon after another match-winning display for new club Montpellier.

Adams was on target again as Montpellier thrashed their hosts Lyon 4-1 on Saturday evening for their first win of the season.

The 23-year-old netted the last goal of the game to score in his second consecutive match.

He was on fire, scoring an excellent brace in a four-goal thriller against the newly promoted side.

However, despite a brilliant outing in front of his new fans, it was not enough to give Montpellier all three points as both teams shared the spoils.

While his goals were not enough the last time, Adams and his new teammates have now claimed their first points the following a comprehensive win at Lyon.

He rewarded his manager with another good performance but had to wait until the 89th minute for his goal.

Adams has now proven to be the latest striker from Nigeria to take the Ligue 1 by storm after scoring his third goal in just his second match.
