Musa wants to use NPFL return to secure Super Eagles spot for 2025 AFCON - Odegbami
Nigerian football legend Segun Odegbami has stated that the Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa wants to use his return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) to secure a spot for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Musa recently hinted at possibly returning to the NPFL, where he previously had two stints with Kano Pillars.

Reacting after the 2013 AFCON winner hinted that he would return to play in the country's elite League, Odegbami said that few players in Nigeria's football history have successfully returned to the NPFL to end their careers and make a significant impact.
Odegbami wished Musa the best of luck in his new adventure and expressed his concerns about the potential challenges he may face.
"It is in the news now that, six months after departing the national team and not securing a contract abroad, Musa will be rejoining his former team, Kano Pillars FC, this season.
"He intends to leverage that 'project' to play his way back into the Super Eagles for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco," Odegbami was quoted by Complete Sports.
Musa started his career in the NPFL before moving abroad and has once returned to play in the league with Kano Pillars.
