After Ajayi taunted Seville with a finish-line stare-down during his victory in London, the Jamaican responded on the track by leaving the entire field behind.

USA's Kenneth Bednarek claimed second place in a season's best 9.87 seconds, followed closely by teammate Christian Coleman in third at 9.93 seconds.

Ajayi was forced to settle for fourth place in 9.94 seconds, while South Africa's Gift Leotlela rounded out the top five in 9.95 seconds.

Canada's Andre De Grasse and South Africa's Akani Simbine tied for sixth in 9.96 seconds, with Ronnie Baker (9.97) and Emmanuel Eseme (9.99) completing a ridiculously fast sub-10-second field.

"I am in pretty good shape, and I feel pretty good about the win. I am in great shape for the Ultimate Championships. The atmosphere here is great, and I will look to come back next year. This is my first time in Poland," Oblique Seville said after the race.

On his part, Kenny Bednarek said: "I felt pretty good and pretty easy. Oblique got me here, but I gave away too much at the beginning of the race. I tried to pick him up, but when you race against someone who is as fast and as strong as you, you cannot afford to make mistakes.

"It feels good to be back competing in Europe. In previous years, I would come back tired from our national trials, but this time I had time to chill, then go back into hard training, and I feel ready to race. I am going to race everywhere I can until the end of the season - Zurich, Brussels, and Budapest."

Meanwhile, Oblique Seville has put together a sensational 2026 outdoor run across local and global meets. After sharpening his stamina early on in Kingston with outings in the 400m (46.98), 4x100m relay (38.75), and 200m (20.43), he shifted gears to the 100m.

The reigning world 100m champion hit his stride at the Jamaican Championships in June, capturing the national 100m crown in a blistering season-best of 9.82 seconds.

Taking that rhythm abroad, he logged a big Diamond League win in Monaco (9.88) alongside solid top-three spots at the Prefontaine Classic (9.89) and Texas's Lone Star Grand Prix (9.91).

Oblique Seville wrapped up his summer swing in Europe by grabbing another silver mark in London with a sharp 9.87 clocking, finishing behind Kayinsola Ajayi before heading to Silesia.
