Manchester United interested in Real Sociedad's Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq

Sadiq has been back to his best for Real Sociedad this season, after missing a large chunk of the last campaign with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The 26-year-old has featured in all of Real Sociedad’s LaLiga and UEFA Champions League games this season, despite scoring just one goal so far.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Erik ten Hag has serious interest in the lanky forward and could look to move for the striker in the January window with the intention of supplementing Rasmus Hojlund in attack.

The likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have struggled badly this season and the Red Devils are now seeking offensive reinforcements.
