Liverpool 4-0 LASK Linz: Mohamed Salah scores 199th goal for the Reds in comfortable home win
Liverpool advanced to the Europa League knockout stages as group winners thanks to a 4-0 win at home to LASK Linz.
The Austrian visitors never really stood a chance at Anfield and Liverpool made it clear with an early goal from Luis Diaz in the 12th minute.
Diaz's header was followed swiftly by another goal, scored this time by Cody Gakpo off a Mohamed Salah assist in the 16th minute.
The roles would then be reversed just shortly after the restart when Gakpo won a penalty which was converted by Salah.
That 51st minute goal is the 199th Salah has scored for Liverpool, a superb achievement for the Egyptian winger who joined the club in 2017.
