LALIGA Preview: Top 3 matches you must watch as Benitez hosts Ancelotti

LALIGA EA SPORTS continues with matchday three slated for the weekend across Spain. 

Matchday three is a special one, with plenty of interesting action-packed clashes scattered throughout. 

The weekend kicks off with a Galician special on Friday featuring current league leaders, Real Madrid. 

Here are three of the biggest matches you must watch on matchday three and why.

LALIGA EA SPORTS' early leaders Real Madrid have a special encounter on their hands as they travel to the peninsula to take on Celta Vigo. 

It’s a memorable day for the hosts on what is the occasion of their centenary celebrations, with two super coaches Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez set for war. 

Celta Vigo clocked 100 years on Wednesday and will have a chance to continue their party with a big game against the giant Los Blancos. 

This particular encounter is the second of the day on Friday night after Las Palmas and Sadiq Umar’s Real Sociedad kicked off activities for the matchday.

Celta may be in a party mood but this is not the best time to entertain an in-form Real side led by big-money summer buy, Jude Bellingham, who has had a solid start to life in his adventure with Real. 

Bellingham has been involved in four goals, three goals and one assist in just two matches so far and Vigo will have to find a way to stop him if they want to get something positive out of this tie. 

In what could be described as a delicious battle, Athletic Club and Real Betis go head-to-head this Sunday.

Athletic have had a shaky start to the season with one win and one defeat in two matches while Betis are unbeaten having won one and drawn the other game. 

These are two historic clubs looking to at least secure a place in Europe and will want to outwit the other when they take to the San Mames pitch in the last game of the day on Sunday.

All eyes will be on former Real Madrid superstar, Isco, who has had a remarkable turnaround in fortunes since he joined Betis on a free transfer. 

Defending champions FC Barcelona are visitors at the Estadio de la Ceramica where they will have their hands full against hosts, Villarreal.

This fixture is the first one on Sunday and will see two teams coming out from their first wins of the season go head-to-head as they look to consolidate on the previous weekend.

Villarreal defeated Mallorca 1-0 last weekend to end a run of six matches without a win while Barcelona got their title defence off to a start with a 2-0 win at home against Cadiz.

The Catalans have won the last two meetings between both sides and will be hoping to make it a third in a row while the Yellow Submarine will want to end a run of two consecutive defeats against Xavi Hernandez’s men.
