Lakeside, Dannaz qualifies for NWFL Premiership

Lagos based side Dannaz Ladies and Ogun state based club, Lakeside Queens have qualified for the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

The two teams picked the ticket at the end of the NWFL Championship in Ikenne Ogun State.

Lakeside Queens and Dannaz Ladies picked the two tickets at stake for elevation into the elite League.

Ekiti Queens, the only other team in Group A with a chance of claiming the ticket, were alarmed by Dannaz Ladies of Lagos' quick start to a two-goal halftime lead.

Starting the game with the knowledge that a victory of any coloration over Dream Stars Ladies would ensure a Premier League ticket, Dannaz wasted no time in racing to a commanding lead.
