Calvin Bassey, who joined Fulham from Ajax in July 2023 for a reported €21 million, has quickly become a key player. He scored his first goal in a crucial 2-1 victory against Manchester United in February 2025 and was voted Fulham's Player of the Season for the 2024-25 campaign, a first for a Nigerian player at the club.

Alex Iwobi, arriving from Everton in September 2023, also had a standout season. In April, he surpassed Mikel John Obi as the Nigerian with the most Premier League minutes played. The pair's strong camaraderie, with Iwobi previously referring to the team as a "brotherhood," will be showcased in the series.

Fulham stars Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi are breaking new ground with their own club-produced series, "The Bassey and Iwobi Show," airing on Fulham FC TV (FFCtv).

This marks the first time Nigerian players have headlined a regular Premier League show, with the new season edging closer.

The debut episode, focusing on scoring, premieres this weekend. The show's concept originated during a 2024 media day, and after months of anticipation, the duo is ready to share their personalities and football journeys with fans.
