Keely Hodgkinson In Line for Financial Windfall After Joining New Agency
British middle-distance running sensation Keely Hodgkinson is poised for a significant financial upswing after signing with WME Sports, the same agency that represents fellow British stars Emma Raducanu and Lewis Hamilton.
Hodgkinson, the reigning Olympic 800m champion, joins a prestigious roster at WME Sports that also includes two-time Wimbledon winner Carlos Alcaraz. The move is expected to substantially boost her earning power, following a path similar to that of tennis star Raducanu.
In an Instagram post, the agency announced the partnership, stating, "WME Sports is proud to announce the signing of Keely Hodgkinson. Keely is the reigning Olympic 800m champion, having claimed Gold at the Paris 2024 Games. The 24-year-old is also a World Champion, European Champion and World Indoor Champion. Welcome to the family, Keely!"
According to reports from The Times, this new agreement could see Hodgkinson's earnings grow considerably. Her company, Runway Pro, which was established after the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, saw its assets increase to £1.3 million in 2025. While impressive, this figure is still a long way from the earnings of Raducanu, whose company reported profits of £9.6 million for the year ending in March 2023.
Hodgkinson to Boost Her Annual Earnings
Hodgkinson already earns an estimated £1 million annually from various endorsement deals, as reported by SportsPro. She serves as a UK ambassador for Nike and has partnerships with brands such as Omega, Avene, and Vitality.
On the track, the Manchester-based athlete has maintained her dominance despite facing injury challenges. After securing a silver medal in Tokyo, she won two European titles before clinching her first Olympic gold in Paris in 2024.
She has started the 2026 indoor season in phenomenal form, shattering the 800m world indoor record by a full second and then comfortably winning gold at the World Indoor Championships in Torun. Now, Hodgkinson has her sights set on the outdoor 800m world record of 1:53.28, a mark set by Jarmila Kratochvilova in 1983 that remains the longest-standing record in athletics.
"I am so excited to build on this, my word for this year was domination, I want global domination and this is a great way to start," Hodgkinson said following her World Indoor victory. "We have a very exciting summer with the European Championships and everything else."
Hodgkinson's personal best of 1:54.61 is the current British record and makes her the sixth-fastest woman ever over 800 metres.
