Starting on the left wing, Ochieng delivered a crucial strike that ultimately secured all three points for his side, who were forced to play the final stretch of the match with only ten men.

Real Sociedad B took the lead in the 27th minute when Lander Astiazaran found the net, courtesy of an assist from Ibai Aguirre. The visitors held their 1-0 advantage into halftime.

Ochieng doubled the lead 11 minutes into the second half, this time with Astiazaran providing the assist. However, the game's dynamic shifted when Mikel Rodriguez received a red card in the 66th minute, leaving Sociedad to defend their two-goal cushion a man down. Shortly after the sending-off, Ochieng was substituted as the team brought on fresh legs to manage the game.

Ochieng Impressed by Fighting Spirit

Huesca managed to pull a goal back deep into stoppage time through Jordi Escobar, but it was merely a consolation as Sociedad held on for the win.

"The game was a tough one, but the team gave everything," Ochieng stated after the match. "We had to fight until the end and it is important that we got the win we deserved."

The victory moves Real Sociedad B up to 16th place in the league standings with 45 points from 39 games. Their next fixture is against Mirandes on Saturday.

It was Ochieng’s ninth goal in the Segunda Division this season, having played 25 matches in the Spanish second division.

Ochieng has now played two games since returning from a month-long injury sustained while playing for Harambee Stars against Estonia in the FIFA Series in March. He was an unused substitute when the Real Sociedad senior team played out a 2-2 draw with Real Betis on Saturday.
