Inter Milan devise plan to stop Erling Haaland

In a record-breaking debut season at City, Haaland scored 52 goals across all competitions, including 12 in as many Champions League games.

The biggest threat to Inter's ambitions of pulling off an upset and derailing City's aspirations of eventually winning the Champions League to clinch the Triple is the Norwegian.

Inzaghi claimed that he and his coaching staff have devised a plan to neutralise Haaland's threat but added that for the plan to be successful, the entire Inter team must come together.

The Italian and his backroom staff have prepared a play on how to stop Norwegian forward Erling Haaland as they prepare for the final against the Citizens. 

In an interview which was reported by the Mirror, Inzaghi said, "We have set up something [to stop Haaland]. I have prepared something. But it will involve the whole team and it will be down to them to defend together, not just against Haaland, but the entire City team."

The Italian side will need to deal with the threat of Haaland in the final as they look to beat Man City and deny them of winning a treble.

Inzaghi has said that he knows the quality Man City has in their squad and he needs his team to play with spirit and desire.

Still speaking, he said, "We know we will be playing the best team in the world,” said Inzaghi. "But we will give everything to win this game. We will have to show all of our fight, desire and spirit to get the result we want."

Man City’s performance this season has impressed the Inter Milan manager who has praised them for their quality.

He also said his team will give everything they have to win the final as they hope to secure their second trophy this season.
