Inter have reportedly already started lining up a replacement for goalkeeper Andre Onana as the Cameroonian nears a move to Premier League giants Manchester United.
Onana increasingly likely to join Manchester United
The Red Devils have identified Onana as the ideal replacement for Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, who is currently out of contract with the club and has yet to agree to the terms of a new deal to keep him at Old Trafford beyond this summer.

A move for Onana is currently being negotiated between Manchester United and Inter, with both parties close to an agreement, while the player himself is thought to be keen on the move to replace de Gea as the Red Devils’ first-choice goalkeeper even if the Spain international remains at the club.
Inter are also making moves to fill the potential gap left by the Cameroonian’s exit, suggesting that a move for Onana to Old Trafford is increasingly likely.
Inter open talks for Onana replacement
Top of Inter’s list to replace Onana is Bayern Munich’s Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who was brought in to fill the boots of injured German number one Manuel Neuer in the January 2023 transfer window from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Sommer is reportedly keen on a move to Inter now that Neuer has regained fitness and is expected to leave the Bavarian club this summer.
The Swiss goalkeeper reportedly has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave for the same amount that Bayern Munich paid for him, meaning he could join Inter for only €9 million, a fraction of the rumoured €50 million that Inter are set to receive for Onana.
