I will never stop being grateful - Ronaldo pays tribute to scout who discovered him
Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his sadness and gratitude following the death of Aurelio Pereira, the former head of recruitment at Sporting CP who discovered him.
Pereira passed away at the age of 77, leaving behind a legacy in the world of football.
Ronaldo took to social media to pay homage to Pereira where he described him as "one of the greatest symbols of world training."
He said, "I will never stop being grateful for everything he did for me and for so many other players. Until forever, Mr. Aurélio, thank you for everything. Rest in peace," Ronaldo wrote.
