I already texted him — Dethroned Osimhen responds to calls to congratulate Lookman for CAF POTY award
Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles star and Galatasaray forward, has responded to the controversy surrounding Ademola Lookman’s CAF Player of the Year win on social media.
While fans eagerly awaited a public message of congratulations, Osimhen’s posts told a different story—one of luxury, diamonds, and high fashion.
Osimhen shows off custom-made diamond pendant
As Ademola Lookman celebrated his career-defining achievement on Monday night in Marrakech, Osimhen took to Instagram to flaunt a jaw-dropping custom-made diamond pendant.
The extravagant piece, crafted by renowned New York jeweller Benny the Jeweler, boasted over 275 carats of emerald baguettes and carbon fibre, shaped into Osimhen’s signature mask.
The move didn’t sit well with fans, who flooded social media with comments, questioning why Osimhen hadn’t publicly acknowledged Lookman’s monumental win.
Instead, hours later, Osimhen doubled down on his flex, sharing photos of himself dressed in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton designer outfits on X.
