Horrific incident as Man Utd players almost get struck by a chair after a tense win over Sheffield Utd

Diogo Dalot's incredible long-range goal in the 77th minute gave the Red Devils all three points on Saturday.

However, it was a flying chair that was en route to the Manchester United team that caught the attention of the crowd, who were in disbelief.

The chair which was thrown from a section of the crowd was aimed straight at the Man United players.

According to reports from the Sun, Manchester United players were almost injured during their celebration against Sheffield United.

The plastic chair that was flying in their direction came dangerously close to striking the players as they were celebrating in the corner of Bramall Lane.

It is unclear from the incidental video who was in charge of throwing the plastic chair at the Man United players.

It wasn't the only strange thing that happened during yesterday night's game either; spectators saw one fan onto the field to confront Bruno Fernandes and company.

One supporter posted on social media, “Somebody threw a chair at the end there!”

While another fan added, “Did someone try and throw a chair at them??”

A third person speculated that the chair was flung onto the field by a Sheffield United supporter, saying, “Dalot’s screamer goal will be remembered, but so will the chair. Sheffield fans had no chill.”

And a fourth said, “I know it’s been a frustrating season for Sheffield United, but a fan throwing his chair toward the field in disgust is just aggressive.”

Meanwhile, For the fifth time this season, Manchester United earned three points in the Premier League, building on their victory over Brentford just before the break.
