He will leave in January — Arteta ready to sell €50m Arsenal star
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly agreed to sanction the departure of striker Gabriel Jesus in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Brazilian media.
Jesus lost his starting spot first to Kai Havertz and more recently to summer signing Viktor Gyökeres. Despite being linked with a return to his formative club, Palmeiras, the former City striker is reportedly focused on remaining in Europe for now.

The report further states that the door to an exit from Arsenal has been opened by the club itself. Andrade revealed that the Gunners have been proactive in addressing Jesus's future:
"Just over a month ago, when Arsenal signed Gyökeres, the club sent a message to Gabriel Jesus' camp that there was a chance he could leave."
Arteta and Arsenal are open to a deal for Jesus in the next window, as the striker looks to revive his career.
