He is going nowhere! Napoli's president hands huge blow to Chelsea, Arsenal over Victor Osimhen

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has put the worries of fans to rest by confirming that Victor Osimhen is on the verge of extending his contract with the club, despite the allure of Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United. 

With one and a half years remaining on his current contract, the Italian champions are eager to continue their partnership with Osimhen well into 2025.

De Laurentiis expressed his optimism during an award function, stating, "For Osimhen, we are at the signing stage, which had been pending since the summer."

Osimhen's relationship with Napoli encountered turbulence when the club posted a TikTok video that mocked him. 

Despite this, the Nigerian forward opted to stay, declining a potentially lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League during the summer.

After a month-long absence due to a thigh injury, the 24-year-old made a successful return against Atalanta. 

While he missed the recent Champions League clash against Real Madrid, Osimhen is likely to be a key figure when Napoli faces league leaders Inter in a crucial Serie A showdown this Sunday.
