'He always performs' — Atletico icon Griezmann picks Real Madrid's best player

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has shared his admiration for Real Madrid's attacking forwards, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius, and Rodrygo.

Speaking with DAZN Futbol, Griezmann was asked to choose between the trio, to which he responded:

"It's difficult because Mbappe has been a teammate of mine, I enjoyed a lot alongside him, we won a World Cup together.

"Vinicius, I think he is a very tough player in the sense that he will always dribble past you, always dangerous, and that is what I like about him."

However, it was Rodrygo who earned Griezmann's special praise.

"But I have a soft spot for Rodrygo because he seems to be a very intelligent player, very calm. It doesn't matter where he plays, left or right or in the middle, he will always perform at 100 percent and that is why he draws my attention."

Rodrygo has netted 13 goals and registered eight assists in 38 games across all competitions for Real Madrid this season.

The Brazilian international joined the Los Blancos from Santos in 2019, and while he has been less heralded than his superstar teammates, Rodrygo has slowly started to earn their respect, becoming almost undroppable with top displays week after week.
