Harambee Stars Players Pocket Ksh5 Million Each from Four Matches After Flawless CHAN 2024 Run
Harambee Stars players are now Ksh5 million richer each after their impressive run at the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024) where they have ended the group stage unbeaten.
Kenya completed a dream run when they beat Zambia 1-0 in their final group stage match at Kasarani on Sunday thanks to Ryan Ogam’s second half strike, seeing them top Group A with 10 points, one ahead of Morocco.
Benni McCarthy’s men will now take on Madagascar in the quarter-final and from their effort so far, each of the players and members of the technical bench are assured a total of Ksh5 million.

How Have Harambee Stars Players Collected Ksh5M Each?
This is after President William Ruto promised each of them Ksh1 million for a win and Ksh500,000 for a draw at the group stage and they collected Ksh2.5 million after beating DR Congo and Morocco before a draw with Angola.
Following that run, President Ruto made a pledge to reward each of them Ksh2.5 million if they beat Zambia on Sunday and they lived up to the billing, downing the Chipolopolo to claim all three points, and they will now be waiting for the Head of State to keep their promise.
There is more as the President had also promised each of them a house if they made it to the quarter-final while Ksh60 million is the team’s reward for reaching the quarter-final.
A semi-final appearance for Harambee Stars will earn the squad Ksh70 million if they beat Madagascar while Ksh600 million will go to the team if they pull off the spectacular and win CHAN 2024 trophy.
