Gerard Pique suffers fall embarrassment as he tries to sign Barcelona jersey

Pique travelled to Mexico to introduce the King League Americas, an updated version of the seven-a-side league he founded in 2022.

During a presentation, Pique approached a fan who was holding up a jersey but the ex-Barcelona star lost concentration while approaching the fan.

He ended up falling into a small hole which he did not see while trying to sign an autograph for a fan.

Gerad Pique was on the move to sign a jersey for a young fan but before he could get to the fan, he fell into a chasm by the stage.

The former Manchester United and Barcelona player seemed as though he was taking a dramatic fall from a stage while listening to a voicemail on his phone.

According to Marca, as reported by the Sun, the defender vanished totally when he went into the more than two-metre-deep hole.

Thankfully, it was believed that he had not been injured in the fall as he climbed back up to the stage.

After Pique's tumble, supporters could not resist making fun of the ex-footballer and one fan said, "If this is not the fail of the year I don't understand anything."

Another one said, "HAHAHA HISTORICAL."

The third fan said, "I didn't know I needed to see how Pique fell HAHAHA."

Another fan jokes, "Shakira soon released a song celebrating the fall."

Meanwhile, pop singer Shakira has made several jabs at Pique in her music since their 11-year marriage ended.
