In Nairobi, the 29-year-old will be among the star attraction and she will be competing in a longer distance, having signed up for the 400m at Kip Keino Classic.

“We will not be having the women’s 200m. Gabby Thomas will not be running in her speciality; she will be running the 400m,” Kip Keino Classic meet director Barnaba Korir confirmed early this month.
