Football besties Messi and Suarez team up for summer break on luxury yacht with their wife and kids

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, once renowned as one of football's most formidable attacking partnerships at Barcelona, have continued their summer bromance off the pitch.

Suarez, his wife Sofia Balbi, and their children joined Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo on a luxury yacht for a memorable holiday.

Both families enjoyed "great moments" together amidst stunning maritime views sharing snaps on Instagram.

Suarez shared photos from their luxury getaway as he captioned: “Enjoying great times with family and friends!.”

The former Barcelona stars, now with Inter Miami, have had a season filled with mixed fortunes.

Suarez, having returned to play in the MLS, has been in fine form with 16 goals this season.

However, both he and Messi have faced challenges with injuries and are currently enjoying an extended summer break.

Messi's ankle injury, sustained during the his 2024 Copa America triumph with Argentina, has prevented him from being in top form.
