The bankers, who have been in imperious form throughout the National Sevens Circuit, struck first when Floyd Wabwire sliced through the Oilers’ defence to dot down under the posts, with Brian Wahinya converting for a 7–0 lead.

Festus Shiasi then added a second try to stretch KCB’s advantage, though Wahinya’s conversion drifted wide, giving the bankers a 12–0 cushion at the break.

After the restart, Wabwire showcased his blistering pace again with a brilliant kick-and-chase effort that he grounded before Wahinya calmly slotted the extras for a 19–0 lead.

The Oilers, who had edged Strathmore Leos in a dramatic semi-final, finally responded through Samuel Mwaura, though the conversion attempt went wide.

KCB, however, were not done. A late surge saw them cap off the victory with another try, Wahinya converting to seal a 26–7 triumph and hand the bankers the Christie Sevens crown.

Earlier, Strathmore Leos secured third place after a thrilling 24–19 sudden-death win over Kenya Harlequins, with Gabriel Ayimba producing the decisive score.
