Dele Bashiru wins battle over Ademola Lookman in Serie A clash between Atalanta and Lazio

Gian Piero Gasperini’s men needed to get back to winning ways after their 1-0 loss to Fiorentina last weekend.

However, they stumbled to another 1-0 loss at Gewiss Stadium at the hands of Lazio, leaving them in third place on the table.

Ademola Lookman made the lineup for Atalanta as Lazio also fielded Super Eagles star Dele Bashiru.

The first half failed to produce any goals, as both of them struggled to create chances to get the game going.

However, the second half was a different ball game as Lazio took advantage of Atalanta’s lapses to take the lead.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru got to the ball and headed it over to Gustav Isaksen, who met it nicely and fired it into the back of the net.

Lazio held on until the final whistle to secure a narrow victory and moved into sixth place on the Serie A table.
