David Moyes happy to see Harry Kane leave Tottenham
Harry Kane recently completed his move from Tottenham to Bayern Munich for a massive fee of £100 million.
The England international was Tottenham’s highest goal scorer in history and also on the verge of reaching Alan Shearer's record of Premier League all-time goal scorer.
With Kane’s recent departure, David Moyes has said that he is pleased to see Harry Kane leave Tottenham and move to Bayern Munich.
Moyes loves Kane’s move
During a press conference before West Ham's opening day clash with Bournemouth, Moyes admitted that he was happy to see Kane leave the Premier League.
Moyes said as reported by Daily Star, "I think Harry Kane has worked and whatever he's done, he's deserved [his move to Bayern].
“He's captain of England [and] rightly so because of his goals. I'm a big admirer because of his goals, but in some ways, I'm glad he's gone," a smirk.”
Kane has gone seven games without scoring a goal against West Ham, dating back to October 2020 and Moyes is pleased that he won't have the chance to break that record
One of the summer's longest-running transfer sagas comes to an end with the England captain's move to Bayern.
Kane was seen on the bench against Leipzig during Bayern Munich's loss to Leipzig in the German Super Cup.
