The 30-year-old forward, who has been in and out of the team this season, rose highest to head in a pinpoint cross from captain James Tavernier.

Dessers has shown resilience, and this strike added to his case for a recall to the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.

Rangers continued their dominance as Hamza Igamane, the 22-year-old Moroccan forward, added a third in the 70th minute.

The rout was completed in the 93rd minute when left-back Jefté scored the fourth.

Dessers was substituted in the 80th minute for Danilo, receiving a warm ovation from the Ibrox faithful as he left the pitch.
