Chelsea defeated their London rival Tottenham 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, with Jackson scoring the second goal to clinch the victory.
The goal takes the forward to 11 for the season despite receiving massive criticism for being wasteful in front of goal this season.
Jackson’s new record
Jackson, who scored in both legs against Spurs, appeared to be rediscovering his goal-scoring ability.
FootballTalkHQ reports that with four games left in the Premier League season, he has now surpassed renowned forward Drogba's first-season total by one goal.

Drogba scored 10 goals in 26 games, with four assists, compared to Jackson's 11 goals in 31 appearances, in his first season in the Premier League.
Before the season finishes, Jackson will be looking to increase his tally of goals by a couple more.
With four games left, Chelsea's ambitions of finishing in the European spot are still alive thanks to their victory over Tottenham, even though they are not going to win the UEFA Champions League.
Jackson ended his three-game goal drought by increasing Chelsea's lead over their rivals in London.
