BIG 12 Championships: Chinecherem makes Baylor history winning back-to-back titles
Baylor University's record holder in the men's Javelin throw Nnamdi Chinecherem, successfully retained his title at the BIG 12 Championships, making history for the school.
Chinecherem threw a distance of 74.40m on his first throw, which was enough to secure the win and become the first Javelin thrower in the school's history to win back-to-back titles at the BIG 12 Championships.

His victory earned the maximum ten points for the school, which counts towards the total points needed to charge for the BIG 12 title win.
Chinecherem won his first title in his freshman year last season, launching his Javelin to a massive Nigerian Record (NR) and School Record (SR) of 81.22m.
Meanwhile, his teammates Ezekiel Nathaniel and Imaobong Uko will compete in the men's 400m Hurdles and women's 200m and 400m today, gunning to break their records and compete for medals.
