Better than Real Madrid, Barca — Brentford boss names best team in the world
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has hailed Liverpool as the best team in the world, in the wake of his side's 2-0 defeat to the Reds on Saturday.
Frank's comments came after Darwin Nunez's late brace secured the win for Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium.
"I think overall a good performance against a fantastically good team that I think is the best team in the Premier League," Frank said in his post-match interview.
"Of course, they are number one, so I don't think that's a surprise to anyone, but probably also the best team in the world."
Frank also believes Liverpool are a level above their Premier League title rivals, Arsenal and Manchester City.
"We just played against City and Arsenal and now Liverpool in short succession, I think they are a level above the two others right now, more complete in all phases of the game, yeah... very good, exceptionally good."
The win has moved Liverpool six points clear of second-placed Arsenal, with a game in hand, and Slot's men will be confident of maintaining their advantage in the next few weeks.
