Barcelona and Spain midfielder Pedri has claimed that he wants to remain at Camp Nou despite reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint Germain.

Pedri had a remarkable season with Barcelona, helping his team clinch the 2022/2023 LaLiga title.

The Spanish international has made 109 appearances, scored 16 goals and provided eight assists for Barcelona.

He has been recently linked with a move to PSG who are trying to rebuild their squad for next season.

However, he has made it clear that it will take a lot of convincing to get him out of Barcelona and he is not looking to leave anytime soon.

Pedri staying put at Barcelona

Pedri recently granted a media outlet an interview where he was asked about the recent rumours linking him to PSG.

During an interview with @LaVanguardia as reported by Romano Fabrizio, Pedri said, “It would take a lot of things to take me out of Barça. Rumours don't interest me, I want Barça.

The Barcelona star has made up his mind about his future at Barcelona and has stated that he wants to remain at the club and become a captain.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are on the verge of losing one of their star players to PSG according to recent reports.

Ousmane Dembélé could be on his way to PSG after being linked with a move in the past few days.

Barcelona manager Xavi also confirmed that Dembele has informed him of his desire to join the French giant.

However, PSG are yet to activate Dembele’s release clause as they stall over a possible move for the French international.
