Ballon d'Or: Modric snubs Raphinha, Yamal, claims teammate will win award 'several times'

Luka Modric has had the privilege of playing alongside legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karími Benzema, and Sergio Ramos.

However, the Croatia legend recently revealed that one current teammate has left him in awe – Kylian Mbappé.

The French superstar joined Real Madrid last summer, and despite a shaky start, he's now an integral part of the team.

Modrić praised Mbappé, saying, "He is one of the best players in the world. He has the ability to do things that have never been seen before."

Despite Mbappé's impressive 30 goals this season, Modrić acknowledges that it might not be his best season yet.

"From the outside, we can say that he hasn't had his best season, but... imagine if it were his best season. One of the best players I've seen. He's a wonderful guy."

"I tell him to keep helping Real Madrid win games, I'm sure he'll be one of the favorites to win not just one Ballon d'Or, but several."
