Afrobeats star and MAVIN records queen Ayra Starr, has been prominently featured in a new Spotify playlist curated by Antonela Roccuzzo, the stunning wife of eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.

Antonela, who boasts a massive following of 40.3 million on Instagram, collaborated with Spotify to create a workout playlist packed with high-energy tracks.

She captioned the post: “This playlist isn’t just mine.”

While the playlist primarily includes renowned Latin artists such as Bizzarap, Ozuna, Karol G, and Bad Bunny, Ayra Starr is the only Afrobeats artiste to feature on the playlist thanks to her credits on the smash hit “Santa”.

This recognition highlights Ayra Starr’s growing influence on the global music scene.

As at the time of this report, the song has already achieved impressive streaming figures, with over 386.5 million streams on Spotify.

The release of the song also propelled the 22-year-old Cotonou-born singer and songwriter to become the no.1 most streamed African artiste on Spotify, surpassing South Africa’s Tyla and her fellow MAVIN superstar Rema.
