Aston Villa snap up Arsenal target Youri Tielemans

Aston Villa have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Youri Tielemans on a free transfer this summer. 

The 26-year-old Belgium international will leave Leicester at the end of the month, following the expiration of his contract and has been linked with a number of clubs. 

The race for his signature now looks to be over, as reports place him at Villa Park next season.

According to a report by the Athletic's David Ornstein this evening, the Villains have reached a deal with the outgoing Leicester midfielder.

The Birmingham club have shown incredible ambition with their recent dealings in the transfer window. 

They were led to a top-seven finish by Unai Emery, and in a bid to back the former Sevilla boss, they are said to have beaten a number of competitors for the signing of the Belgian. 

Meanwhile, Pablo Fornals crowned his Europa Conference League triumph with West Ham with his wedding ceremony as he ties the knot with partner Tania Lara.

The Hammers defeated Fiorentina 2-1 on Wednesday night to win the trophy in Prague, ending a 43-year trophy drought for the club.

The players celebrated their win with a top-of-the-bus parade and partied till Friday but that was not all to celebrate about.
