Ancelotti gives definitive update on his future
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has quelled doubts about his future, confirming that he will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for at least one more season.
The 63-year-old manager has been linked with a job with the Brazilian national team and a return to Chelsea as permanent manager.
However, the Italian tactician has stayed consistent in his desire to continue at Real Madrid and has now confirmed that he will stay for the entire length of his contract, which expires at the end of next season.
What Ancelotti said
The coach of the 14-time Champions League winners was speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s league clash this weekend against Cadiz when the recurring question on his future popped up.
Carlo reassured that he will continue as the Real Madrid boss next season, saying he had an excellent relationship with club president Florentino Perez.
He explained that he is well-loved by the club and, hence, will continue at the club next season, satisfying his contract.
"The president has always been kind to me, and he still is. We must look ahead,” Carlo said.
“The club is very calm, I receive a lot of affection. I think I'll be here next season, no doubt, we’ll respect the contract.”

Ancelotti on Chelsea links
As previously roported, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out the possibility of becoming the next permanent manager of Chelsea, saying he will not return there.
The Italian manager was in charge of Chelsea for 109 games between the 2009/10 season and the 2010/11 season and has been linked with a return to the club following Graham Potter's sacking, but the 63-year-old has now publicly turned down the chance.
He expressed his love for the club, saying he is a fan and that he enjoyed his stay there, but he explicitly stated that he will not be returning to the club.
