AFCON 2025 Day 10 Timetable: Indomitable Lions and Elephants in Action

The Round of 16 is already decided at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations even before the final round of group stage matches are played but there is still action to feat your eyes on.

On Wednesday, it will be deciding the order of teams in Groups E and F rather that who goes through as that has been decided.

So, who will play who on the final day of matchday three?

Equatorial Guinea are already eliminated and face Algeria who have secured their place in the Round of 16 and top spot in Group E.

It will therefore be playing for pride for Equatorial Guinea while Algeria look to emulate Nigeria by having a perfect record.

Both sides are already set for the knockout round but the match will determine the team that finishes second in Group E.

The two sides are on three points each and whoever wins will finish second although a draw would favour the Burkinabe who have a better record.

Gabon, who are winless, are already out of the competition but will be playing for pride while the Ivorians must win to be sure of top spot in Group F as they have four points.

A win for Ivory Coast, coupled with a favourable result in the match between Cameroon and Mozambique will send the Elephants top.

This Group E fixture will be a cracker as both teams need to win to be sure of top spot or second place.

A win for Cameroon, also on four points, would send them top, depending on the result between Ivory Coast and Gabon, while Mozambique, on three points, can even go top with a victory if the Ivorians fail to win. A draw would leave Mozambique third in the group.
