Bandi, a versatile player capable of operating both in defence and midfield, rejoined the squad on Saturday after a prolonged battle with a niggly knee injury that required arthroscopy.

Ingwe's social media was abuzz with excitement, sharing a video of Bandi stepping back onto the training ground with the caption, "Look who's back."

Bandi, known for his versatility on the field, has been a notable absentee, sidelined for nearly a year.

Before his injury, Bandi was a key player for AFC Leopards, primarily playing as a right full-back.

His ability to adapt and contribute in midfield became crucial during periods when the club faced restrictions on signing new players.

His return is anticipated to bring back tactical flexibility and depth to the team.

Bandi's journey with AFC Leopards has been marked by growth and resilience. A former player of Hakati Sportif, he has also shown his prowess on the national stage, representing the U20 and U23 teams as a right back.

In related news, AFC Leopards has also fortified its attacking options by acquiring Christopher Koloti from Green Commandos.

The 19-year-old forward, who scored 21 goals over two seasons in the FKF Division One Zone B, has been a revelation.

He notably scored the decisive goal in the Kakamega Governor’s Cup exhibition match while playing for the Leopards' youth team.

Koloti's signing followed a month-long training stint with the team and coincided with the club's unsuccessful attempt to secure promising striker Mark Shaban, who joined Gor Mahia.
