Kenya Harlequins head coach Patrice Agunda has declared his team ready to defend their National Sevens Series title.
The series kicks off with the Driftwood Sevens in Mombasa on July 26-27.

"This provides a strong foundation and allows us to integrate some of our younger players."

The Quins began their sevens preparations in May, giving them eight weeks of pre-season training.
Agunda believes this extended period has adequately prepared them for the demands of the fast-paced game.
"We started earlier than usual. Our preparations focused on strength and conditioning, as well as honing our skills."
