Sebastien Ogier celebrated 100th WRC podium with Toyota at Croatia Rally, and he is looking forward to Vodafone Rally de Portugal.

2023 WRC Safari Rally champion Sebastien Ogier is basking in the glory of his 100th podium finish in the FIA World Rally Championship which he achieved with a spectacular victory at Croatia Rally.

The Frenchman, who secured his 59th win in the series, expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance as Toyota claimed three cars in the top five and extended their lead in the manufacturers' standings.

Reflecting on his milestone podium Ogier described the Croatia Rally as a tough weekend where he pushed the limits like never before facing numerous challenging moments.

"One hundred podiums is a nice number and it's great to reach it with a victory. I enjoy every opportunity I have to drive these cars, and it's nice to see we still have some speed," said Ogier as per WRC portal.

Ogier also praised the team's effort, highlighting the collective performance that contributed to their success in Croatia.

Despite the tight competition and the challenge of making a significant difference in the points standings, he remained optimistic and motivated to continue pushing for more victories.

Looking ahead to the next challenge at Vodafone Rally de Portugal Ogier expressed his excitement, especially as the event holds special significance for him.

It was in Portugal where he secured his maiden WRC win 14 years ago, making the upcoming rally a nostalgic and meaningful one for the seven-time world champion.

Toyota will field four GR Yaris Rally1s for the first time in Matosinhos, with Ogier, Elfyn Evans, and reigning world champion Kalle Rovanpera registered for points.

Takamoto Katsuta who stepped down from a point-scoring position in the team will also be competing.
