Donny van de Beek has signed for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Manchester United.

Netherands international Donny Van De Beek has suspended his nightmare spell at Manchester United by completing a loan move to 2022 Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder will join the Bundesliga side for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The deal comes on the first day of the 2024 winter transfer window, which remains open until February 1.

Van de Beek will be pushing for more playing time in Germany after making two appearances for United so far this season.

Eintracht Frankfurt are currently sixth in the Bundesliga and face a UEFA Europa Conference League play-off with Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium in February.

In total, the 26-year-old has made 62 appearances and scored two goals for United since joining from Ajax in 2020, and also played seven games for Everton during a loan spell in 2022.

Van de Beek helped Ajax reach the Champions League semi-final in 2019, and has played 19 times for the Netherlands, scoring three goals.
