Shabana FC terminates contracts of two players for gross indiscipline, following failed post-suspension integration.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Shabana FC has taken a decisive step by terminating the contracts of players Isaac Otieno and Dennis Kalama.

The move, attributed to gross indiscipline, comes after the duo had already served a one-month suspension due to misconduct.

This decision marks a pivotal moment for the club as it navigates through a period marked by underperformance and internal challenges.

"In any organization, if you fail to adhere to the code of conduct, your contract gets terminated, and that is what we have done as a club," revealed a source close to Shabana FC, emphasizing the club's commitment to discipline and professionalism.

Otieno and Kalama were initially suspended over undisclosed acts of misconduct.

There were expectations within the club's management and fan base that the duo would reintegrate into the team post-suspension, having undergone corrective measures aimed at personal growth and alignment with the club's values.

However, upon completion of the mandated programs, the players reportedly failed to meet the set expectations, leading to their permanent exclusion from the team.

Rumors of the players sabotaging the coaching staff have previously circulated, although these claims remain unverified.

Shabana's current season has been less than ideal, with the team securing only three wins against nine defeats.

Positioned 17th on the league table with just 14 points, the team sits precariously above the bottom-placed Nzoia Sugar.
