REPORT: Real Madrid monitoring Bournemouth pair after Arsenal win

Real Madrid have reportedly stepped up their interest in two Bournemouth players after scouting them against Arsenal.

Real Madrid have reportedly intensified their pursuit of two Bournemouth players, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez

According to talkSPORT, scouts from the Spanish giants were present at the Emirates Stadium to watch the pair during Bournemouth's recent Premier League victory against Arsenal.

Both Huijsen and Kerkez started for the Cherries as they came from behind to secure a surprise 2-1 win

Real Madrid interest in Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez

Huijsen particularly impressed, getting his name on the scoresheet with a headed equaliser.

The defender joined Bournemouth from Juventus last summer and has enjoyed a stellar first season at the Vitality Stadium, making 33 appearances in all competitions.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from several top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Thus, Los Blancos would face competition from these English clubs for Huijsen's signature.

Meanwhile, the LaLiga giants are also reportedly monitoring Milos Kerkez.

The Hungarian left-back, who signed for Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, has also impressed during his time in England, developing into an attacking threat from full-back.

Liverpool are understood to be leading the race to sign Kerkez this summer. The defender has made 35 Premier League appearances for the Cherries this term and has been lauded for his forays forward.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has praised Huijsen's performances, highlighting his confidence on the ball and his threat from set plays. 

Huijsen has admitted to being relaxed about the transfer speculation and is currently focused on enjoying his football at Bournemouth.
