Nairobi United coach Nicholas Muyoti is over the moon following his side’s dominant display that saw them claim the National Super League title and get a direct promotion to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
As they head to the Kenya Premier League, Nicholas Muyoti recounted the struggles encountered in the national league as he pointed out what the team intends to do to maintain its place in the higher league.
Nicholas Muyoti noted that the players had to endure a lot throughout the season to make a mark in the league and lauded every one of them for showing up even on days when it seemed impossible.

“We have not had one of the best journeys, and the NSL has its own struggles and I have seen that for myself, as an experienced coach. Right now, it’s all about looking at what we were lacking so that we can do well in the Kenya Premier League.

Naivas FC managed to claim a 3-0 win over Nairobi United, but that was not enough to change things. However, the club has since booked a slot in the playoffs and will be looking to give their all and hopefully secure a slot in the Kenya Premier League.
“We want to congratulate our opponents for winning the national title, and I also want to appreciate our players,” Elvis Ayany said.
“They showed up for this game amid the pressure of playing against a good side that had won its matches. We started the league poorly, and we were almost second last, but the players showed up and I congratulate them.”
