Moments later, Sharks constructed another fantastic move which resulted in left winger Keith Imbali acrobatically diving in an attempt to break the dreadlock but his shot went wide..

AFC Leopards winger Jafari Owiti was the first one to test the Kariobangi Sharks defence after he got on the end of a long ball over the top forcing the keeper into making a great save.

Sharks then had with a good chance to go ahead after winning freekick from outside the box, but they could not make it count.

In the 22nd minute, Kayci Odhiambo gave an excellent pass from the back to Hassan Beja who just hits the ball over the bar from a chip.

Kevin Kimani then passes to Beja in the 25th minute, before the speedy winger passed the ball to Vincent Mahiga who opted to cross rather than shoot, fluffing a good chance.

Sharks then had another opportunity to go ahead through Baron Otieno who shot over the bar after Imbali had managed to beat Aziz Okaka down the left flank before setting up the midfielder.

Imbali would then get on the end of another pass from deep by Sharks captain Kevin Otiala in the 38th before producing a left-footer shot that forced Levis Opiyo into a good save, keeping the game goalless at the break.

Leopards would however come out all guns blazing in the second half, pushing Sharks back before winning a penalty after Victor Omune was fouled inside the box, which the Kenyan international took full advantage off by slotting home in the 50th minute.
