A poor outing against West Ham has capped Manchester United's awful season so far which has seen the Red Devils fall to a 93-year low

Manchester United’s poor season continues to fall into the doldrums after another dismal performance in their 2-0 loss to West Ham in the Premier League, which saw them break a 93-year-old record.

Manchester United break unwanted record after West Ham loss

The Red Devils were overrun by their hosts at the London Stadium in their fourth loss in a run of seven winless matches.

The poor run of results is the epitome of what Manchester United’s 2023/24 season has been like, and the Red Devils’ accumulation of pathetic results has seen them break an unwanted record.

Manchester United have now lost a total of 13 matches before Christmas in all competitions this campaign, the first time they have been beaten this many times since the 1930/31 season.

Manchester United fail to score in four matches

In addition, the Red Devils have also reached a 31-year-old record after failing to score in four consecutive matches for the first time since 1992 under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Since losing 3-0 against Bournemouth at Old Trafford earlier this month, the Red Devils have failed to score in losses against West Ham and Bayern as well as a 0-0 draw against Liverpool.

With the team sitting in eighth on the Premier League table and also being out of the UEFA Champions League running this season, Erik Ten Hag’s job is in danger and it seems like just a matter of time before the Dutch coach becomes the latest managerial casualty in the Premier League.
